impossible the proper filtering action of this part of the cornea. One of us has observed this remarkable clinical picture once only. We are convinced other less obvious cases have been over-looked. In -the future we shall be on the look out for cases of this type, and now that attention has bEen drawn to it, perhaps others wvill report similar cases. A suggested name for this affection might be primary symmetrical interstitial fatty corneal dystrophy with lipoidal arc, due -to nephrotic lipaemia." Further investigations by clinicians and biochemists will be required.
